Obituary of Maxwell (Max) William Parsons
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Maxwell (Max) William Parsons announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026, at the age of 81 years.
Max will be remembered fondly for his deep love of the outdoors and his passion for moose hunting, memories that his family will cherish forever.
Left to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful stories and memories are his sons Isaac (Dawn) of Burin, Darrell (Marsha) of Lewin's Cove, Aubrey (Bonnie) of Stephenville, Terry (Terri) of Marystown, and Richard (Natasha) of Garnish. He is also survived by his sibling Lester (Patricia) of Lawn; grandchildren Darlene, Kyle, Hayley, Tyler, Patrick, Cameron, Joseph, Clara, and Aurora; great-grandchildren Danika, Kiera, Payton, Eva, and Sara; and special home care worker Mike.
Max was predeceased by his son Richard, his parents Joseph and Clara, sister Marie and brother Howard.
Service Information
An inurnment will take place at a later date at the Hope United Church Cemetery in Lewin’s Cove.
