It is with great sadness the family of Percy Matthews announce his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on February 4, 2026 at the age of 71 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter Sherry Matthews of Paradise; sister Mailyn Pike (Doug); brothers Robert Matthews (Daphne), Harold Matthews (Eileen), and Max (Judy); aunts Dot and Gladys Foote; good friend Jimmy Williams and his wife; many nieces, nephews and cousins plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by his mother Mabel Matthews and sister Mary Pitcher.
In keeping with Percy’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
