Our hearts are with the family and with Joan as you all grieve the sudden loss of Frank. He was a truly kind soul who lived a colourful, full life and brought joy wherever he went. Frank loved to tell stories and tease with a twinkle in his eye, with those he cared about. His laughter, wisdom, and playful spirit will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

So very sorry for the passing of Uncle Frank. Every time they had to come to St. John’s their first stop was always to have a visit with Dad. I know they were all there waiting for him at the gate. Hold your memories close to your heart.

My sincere condolences to Joan, Lorraine, and David, on the passing of my beloved brother. He and Joan visited me in my new residence in September, 2025 - a visit I will always cherish. There have been many, many phone calls since that visit. Frank has left me to be the last surviving member of our family. Rest in peace, Frank, knowing you were loved.

My husband Bobby and I have come to think of Frank as our uncle. He was my Aunt Joan’s partner and we came to love him just as much. Our hearts go out to Aunt Joan and family and Frank’s family during this difficult time. Frank was a wonderful man full of stories and jokes and he loved to tease all in good fun. We always enjoyed our visits and we will miss him terribly. R.I.P.Frank. Gone but not forgotten.
Love Renee and Bobby.

Hello, my name is Leslie (Les) Cake and I am a nephew of Frank Cake. I have some very fond memories of Uncle Frank over the years but especially during the summer of 1971. At that time I had just graduated from Queen's University, Kingston Ontario. I spent my final summer as a new graduate working at what was then a Toronto office of E.R. Squibb, a pharmaceutical company. Frank was the manager and basically got me this summer job as a clerk taking orders from drug stores which were then filled by the warehouse run by Edwin Cake.
Uncle Frank was a very capable, smart and organized boss who was well liked by employees. Work was sometimes hectic but always fun due to Frank's infectious humour. The office atmosphere was excellent.
Uncle Frank not only gave me this summer job, but I also lived at his home with Lorraine, David and Frank's wonderful wife Margaret Aunt Margaret was a fantastic cook! They were very good to me and I will be eternally grateful.
My sincere condolences to David and Lorraine, to Frank's partner Joan, and to all his family and friends. Uncle Frank will be missed by all.

Joan, Lorraine, Dave and families,
So very sorry to learn of Uncle Frank’s passing. I have fond memories of visiting Tottenham as a child and later as an adult . Frank was always so welcoming and kind. He was always good for a few laughs and teasing - He was a master at that !
Frank will be fondly remembered by so many - he was an absolute force with a great zest for life as mentioned in the obituary. Frank joins many loved ones who have passed before him . There’s guaranteed to be a good game of cards ( fists pounding on the table) and a few nightcaps waiting for him ! :)
RIP Uncle Frank
Love
