Obituary of Isaac Masters
Isaac Masters born on March 2, 1936 passed peacefully away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
He was a cherished husband, father grandfather, great grandfather uncle and friend to all that knew him
Isaac loved his wife, Madeline of 67 years, his children Judy (Don Peach) of Grand Bank, Bruce (Marilyn) of Mount Pearl, David (Joanne) of Fortune, Gregory( Darlene) of Fortune, Kathy (Darren Charters)of Corner Brook, Michael of Fortune;
Grandchildren, Shelly (Jeff), Susan (Rick), Steven, Zachary (Tracey), Rebecca (Cody), Joshua;
Great Grandchildren, Parker, Jaxsen, Taylor, Amelia, Adelyn, McKinley, Charlotte, Norah;
Siblings: Addie Grandy (Len), sisters-in-law Gertrude Masters, Nellie Stanley, Dawn Piercey; brother-in-law Fred Piercey and a large circle of nephews nieces and other family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the Kingsway Retirement Home Grand Bank for all their amazing support to the family. Also the Grand Bank paramedics for care and support to the family.
Isaac was pre-deceased by his parents, Kenneth and Melinda Masters, grandson, Jason Masters, brother Gordon Masters, parents in law James and Florence Piercey, sisters- in-law Wavy Piercey, Nora Piercey, stepfather in law Davy Marshe, brothers-in-law Merlin Piercey and Jim Stanley.
Isaac carried the values of hard work and simplicity throughout his life.
His dedication to family was evident in every detail of his life. Isaac spent 67 years married to the love of his life Madeline who he adored, he cherished the time he spent with his children and adored his grandchildren. Isaac was delighted to be a great grandfather, each of whom bought immense joy into his life. He was all about family and always loved to see people come and hated to see them leave.
He especially loved his sweets. He was aways caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
Isaac was a teacher, social worker, manager of a supermarket and also worked at Dixon company.
He loved to hunt partridge’s and go fly fishing.
Isaac was known for his warm heart and infectious smile. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends who will celebrate his life and the many ways he touched them.
Visitation for Isaac will begin on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 10 to 12, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
In Keeping, with Isaac’s wishes following the visitation, he will be going for cremation.
