Obituary of Ann Bain
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ida Ann Bain on Friday November 7 2025 at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre at the age of 76 years. While her life may seem too short to many, those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time she stayed here.
Ann is predeceased by Predeceased parents Richard Rowe and Florence (Collins)
Husband Clayton Bain.
Ann will be lovingly remembered by her children daughter Cathy, son Billy,
grandchildren Richard (Chantelle), Clara, Alex, Dominique, William ; great grandchildren Kaya Ann, Sylvie, brother Lou Rowe; nieces & nephews especially Tony Mayo & Joanne Mayo and her small but devoted circle of friends as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Ann will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife to Clayton. Her life was enriched by her beloved pets—Molly, Marbles, and Muffin—and her passions for sewing and quiet reading time. She deeply cherished her role as a grandmother. Her grandkids carry warm memories of her big hugs and the fun they had planting gardens and feeding the raccoons together. Ann navigated life's challenges with remarkable stubbornness and resilience, overcoming every obstacle. She was a deeply loved woman whose warmth touched everyone she knew.
You’re at PEACE now mom & you will be Forever Remembered & Loved. Deeply etched in Billy’s & My Heart
We would like to send a special thank you to her home care staff and their devotion to her. Grateful for the compassion of Burin healthcare system
