Obituary of Jeffrey Moulton

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Moulton, of Burin, who died peacefully at the age of 45, October 5th, 2025 surrounded by the love of his devoted wife and children.

Jeffrey was a son, a brother, a father, an uncle, and a husband whose life was defined by love, laughter, and loyalty. A man of quiet strength and steady heart, he brought warmth, light, and joy into every room he entered and into the lives of all who knew him. His smile and humor were infectious—he knew how to have a good time and made sure others did too.

Jeff was a proud and dedicated family man. His greatest joy came from spending time with his wife and children, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Whether it was around a campfire on a summer night, at home cheering on his favorite team, or swimming all day at Duricle Pond, Jeff made the ordinary moments extraordinary just by being present.

Jeffrey’s kindness and generosity extended far beyond his family. As a youth outreach worker, he dedicated his time and heart to supporting young people in his community, offering guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear. He believed in the potential of every child and worked tirelessly to help them see it in themselves. His impact on the lives of countless youth will be felt for years to come.

He was a talented dart player and a passionate camper. His sense of humor, kind spirit, and unwavering loyalty made him a friend like no other.

He was predeceased by his beautiful Grandparents, his sister Kelly Winsor and brother-in-Law Andrew Drake.

Jeffrey’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those he leaves behind, including his loving wife, who lived by the vows she made 20 years ago—in sickness and in health. He is also survived by his cherished children: Andrew (Micoya Kelly), Jack (Sarah Percy), Isabelle, and Alex; his loving father Jeff Moulton and wife Dorothy Moulton; his beloved Mama Paula “Cussie” Moulton; his father-in-law Thomas “Jr” Drake and his wife Tania Drake; and his mother-in-law, Mary Slaney, whom Jeff always said proved that good mothers-in-law do exist, along with her spouse Alfred Langdon.

Jeff is also remembered by his siblings: Sandra Mayo (Keith), Robert Spurrell (Trudy), Scott Moulton, Donna Brushett (Shannon), and Joshua Moulton (Jennifer); and his brother-in-law Donald Drake. His many nieces and nephews include Kyrie Mayo (Scott Drover), StefanMayo (Brittney), Jessica Spurrell, Joseph Spurrell, Charlotte Spurrell, Julia Gregerson (Andrew Battiste), Noah Gregerson, Kaitlyn Moulton, Emily Moulton, Lily Brushett, Connor Brushett, Charlie Moulton, Carter Drake, Katie Drake, Grayson Drover, Ellie Drover and Isla Langdon, his great niece Fraya Mayo. He also leaves behind countless friends too numerous to list, each touched by his warmth and generosity.

Jeffrey will be remembered for his compassion, his strength, and the love he gave so freely.

Family visitation on Tuesday October 7, 2025 from 12-2PM.

Family will be receiving friends from Serenity Funeral Home 95 main road Burin on Tuesday October 7, 2025 from 2-4PM & 7-9PM. Wednesday October 8, 2025 2-4PM and from 7-9PM we are holding a vigil to honor Jeffrey life.

A Celebration of life service will take place at the Calvary Pentecostal Church, Marystown 814 Ville Marie Dr, Creston North, NL A1N 2C2 on Thursday October 9, 2025 2PM.

In keeping with Jeffrey's wishes cremation will follow the service.

After the Funeral service there will be a celebration of Jeffreys life at Shooters Bar in Salt Pond all ages welcome

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Jeff by sharing a story, casting a dart, or spending time outdoors with those you love. Donations are gratefully accepted
