Obituary of Alicia Broydell
It’s with profound sadness that the family of Alicia Broydell announces her sudden passing in her 39th year on June 11, 2025, Alicia was born a precious gift, a stunning blonde hair blue eyed baby, who illuminated the world on May 27,1986, to her loving parents, Brenda Broydell and Tom Osbourne. She was the shining star of her family, spreading love and joy to all, and her beautiful smile lit up every room she entered. As a compassionate big sister to Thomas, Alicia’s kindness inspired those around her.
Alicia was an extraordinary mother to two beautiful children, Aaliyah, and Tyler, her unconditional love and devotion inspiring them to thrive. Her legacy will live on through them, a testament to her remarkable spirit.
Alicia’s memory will be cherished by her mother Brenda Broydell and father Tom Osbourne of Salt Pond, brother Thomas Broydell of Salt Pond, her two aunts on her mom’s side Phylis and Barbra of Alberta, and cousins Sabrina and Sarah. Aunt Judy (Ron) Lyle of N.S, Aunt Genevieve (Martin) Farrell of Salt Pond, Uncle Billy (Liz) Osbourne of Brooks AB, Aunt Kathy (Kelvin) Farrell of Mississauga ON, Uncle Kevin Osbourne of Vancouver BC, and Uncle Dave (Diane) Osbourne of Frankfort ON, will also deeply miss her.
Alicia was preceded in death by her great-grandfather Ernest Broydell of Lewins Cove and grandparents William and Regina Osbourne of Saltpond. Her passing leaves a void, but her impact will continue to inspire a large circle of family and friends in both Newfoundland and Alberta.
