Oh how unreal this all still feels. That you’re gone. So many memory’s have come to mind in the last week. Sleepovers at your house, one time there were like 6 of us in your bed. How the hell did we even get any sleep? That silly song I can still hear you singing in junior high “na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na Kelly, Kelly, come back and help me” when you didn’t understand something in math class. Driving around in the ol Corsica, especially the time I mentioned on your fb wall when it was a blizzard out and we were down in Myst and mom called telling me to get the eff home with her car. Sneaking me into the NICU to see little 3-4 day old Aliyah and being mesmerized by her beautiful eyes. Pretending your smokes were mine when your mom came to your bedroom door and omfg when I made a glass ashtray explode on your bed because I kept setting things on fire in it. That last morning before you moved away, I kinda forgot you stayed with us that last night until mom mentioned it. I was so devastated but excited for you. Oh! Mom being shitbaked because Aliyah fell out of Kendra’s bed while she was babysitting and we were out in the boonies of Burin where there was no cell service. (She was fine, and coincidentally the same thing happened to her with Chase as a baby and dad took a pic of the bruise the next day and put it on fb haha). I think it was your second trip home when the first night you slept over we stayed in the basement and played Mario all night long and snuck smokes out the basement door. And I mentioned somewhere else the freaking deadly white Fox hat you brought me home that I wore flat out until it blew off my head into a puddle. Oh the curses that came out of my mouth when that happened. Swimming at golden sands and we wanted to have a puff right out in the middle so we lit a smoke and started out and when that one was almost gone we lit another smoke and then we were finally out far away from everyone and had our puff. Jesus it took us a good 15 mins to get back to land. And how you managed to look so freaking amazing and beautiful at grad when you had just had a baby like 2.5 weeks before blew my mind. Then again you always looked good. Your mom showed me some childhood pics of you and then some of Aliyah and I swear to god half the time I didn’t know which was which. She’s grown up to be an amazing young lady and that boy of yours is so handsome. Ugh I meant to keep this short and instead I’ve been rambling and crying. I’m so glad I got to see your mother while she was waiting for her flight and am planning to meet her when she comes back as well. I hope you know how much you were loved and how much you will be missed xoxxo
