In May, my credit scores were 486 (TransUnion), 514 (Equifax), and 523 (Experian). When I applied for a mortgage loan in June, I was denied due to my low FICO scores. My husband works for the government, and his security clearance requires that he maintain a good credit standing. Unfortunately, last year, we observed a decline in his credit score, so we knew we needed some help.
