Obituary of Carlson Robert Isaacs

Please share a memory of Carlson to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carlson Isaacs, a devoted husband, cherished father, beloved grandfather, and true friend to many, who passed away peacefully at home on April 18th, 2025, at the age of 86 years.

Predeceased by his parents, Augustus and Lena (nee Wagg), brothers Barry and Jim, and parents in-laws Malcolm and Ethel Pike.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 60 years, Ruby (nee Pike), children Elaine (Darrell), Robert (Shelley) and Roger (Marilyn), grandchildren Spencer (Melissa), Felica, Tanner (Cheryl), Nathan (Kristan) and Miranda, brother Harvey (Daphne), sisters-in-law Maxine and Roberta and many dear friends.

Carlson was the heart of his family, a man whose life was centered around love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear. He found his greatest joy in the company of his family – especially in his later years when his time was most often and most happily spent with his grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

A passionate outdoorsman, Carlson looked forward each year to moose hunting trips in Millertown and salmon fishing excursions. Whether in the woods or on the water, he was always in his element, and he loved nothing more than sharing those passions with others.

He will be remembered for his gentle nature, generous heart, and the twinkle in his eye that lit up every room he entered. Carlson leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and service – a life well lived and deeply appreciated by all who knew him.

In keeping with Carlson's wishes cremation has taken place.

A funeral service will be held at Saturday, May 24th, 2025, at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Burin at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, Burin Volunteer Fire Department or Burin Areas Food Pantry etransfer burinareafoodpantry@gmail.com or a charity of one's choice.
