Obituary of Annie Comby

It is with great sadness the family of Annie Comby of Burin, NL announce her peaceful passing on Sunday March 23, 2025 at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center at the age of 81 years. 

 

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories son Paul (Tina) of Burin, NL; daughter Georgeann Butler (Gordie Mayo) of Lewin’s Cove; grandson Rodney and great-granddaughter Arielle; sisters Marg Farewell (Jim), Maureen Farrell, Pauline Whalen (Bob), Edith Druken; brothers Dave Drake, Edward Drake (Joy); brother-in-law Ches Comby plus a large circle of other family and friends. 

 

Predeceased by parents Patrick & Elizabeth Drake, husband George, brother Alphonses Drake, sister-in-law Susie Drake, brother-in-law Patrick Druken.

 

Family will receiving friends on Monday March 24, 2025 from 2-4PM & 7-9Pm from Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.

 

Funeral service will take place from Serenity Chapel, Burin on Tuesday March 24, 2025 at 2PM with interment following at Sacred Heart RC cemetery, Fox Cove.
