I heard about the crypto asset trading platform “costmictop.cc”, through an online community. I then opened an account, deposited funds, and believed I was making profitable trades. Over the last few days, us cousins have been reminiscing about Uncle John. It was a walk down memory lane back to our carefree childhood days. They say that kids need ‘certainty’ in their lives. Well, Uncle John definitely wasn’t short on certainty. Every Sunday, he certainly sent one of us to the store for a block of Neapolitan ice cream. He certainly didn’t like staying put too long. We can hear him saying “Come on now, it’s time to go.” He certainly would never turn down a piece of boloney and a Pepsi. But, the most certain thing of all was his love of family. God rest his gentle soul. We certainly are going to miss you.
Here’s one of the few pictures that has most of our 1st & 2nd generation - taken August 1976. It was such a fun day.
Adults: Maureen Dodge (sister-in-law), John Dodge, Sandra Dodge (late wife), Dave Dodge (John’s late brother), Leah Sperry (John’s sister), Charle Royle (brother-in-law) and Ruth Royle (John’s late sister). Missing from photo is David Sperry (late brother-in-law who took the photo).

John Dodge was a good man in every sense of the word. He was one of the most honest, forthright, and good natured men I’ve ever met in my entire life. If not the most in all those categories. He represented the kind of helpful person, you could only find in those who grew up in old Newfoundland. I truly hope he is at peace and he will be missed by all who knew him. My sincere condolences to his family, know that you were enriched beyond measure by the memories of him he left you.
