
Obituary of Meline Bennett
It is with broken hearts the family of Meline Bennett of Burin announce her passing at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank on February 5th at the age of 82 years.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of memories her children Karl (Irene) of St. John’s, Edward Bennett of Burin, Cliff (Melissa) of Alberta and Lee Bennett of Ottawa; 6 grandchildren Kristan (Ted), Kelly (Matthew), Kelsey (Kyan), Brandon (Kelsey), Owen and Bianca; great grandchildren Katherine and Jasper; sister Norah Murdock (John) of Nova Scotia plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Meline was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Donna; husband Ted plus many siblings.
Meline loved going out to the dances, and being with her family and friends. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Family will be accepting visitors on Friday, February 7th, 2025 family only 7-9PM and for the public Saturday and Sunday from 2-4PM and 7-9PM.
Funeral Service will take place from Serenity Chapel on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 2PM changed to pending weather.
In keeping with Meline's wishes cremation will following the funeral service.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s society.
