Lila was my buddy Reuben's mother and I was in their home many times from the 1970s through to summer 2024. I always enjoyed talking with her and answering her many questions. She lived a good long life and now has well-earned peace. My deep condolences go out to Reuben, Clyde, and all Lila's family and friends.

My deepest condolences to the family of Lila Beazley. I remember her fondly as one of my teachers in Lewin’s Cove and as the organist in our church. The last time that I saw her was at Dad’s 90th birthday party, where my brother Russ and I joked with her about who was the better student! She still had a great sense of humor. May her family find comfort in the many happy memories of her. Rest in heavenly peace, Lila.

To Rueben,Clyde and family
I extend to you my deepest condolences and prayers!
Aunt Lila was truly a great woman of God who through her living displayed great faith and trust in him. Her prayer life and her love for God encouraged and inspired many people along the way. God blessed her with the gift of music which she used to bless the souls of others .
During one of my visits uncle Reub and aunt Martha were there and before long aunt lila was at the organ , i was on the accordion and we sang many hymns together.
Aunt lila had a cheerful disposition and displayed it through her smile . Always giving the encouraging word and showing kindness to others. I will miss her but I have the hope that i will meet her again in Heaven some glad day! Walter and Verna Clarke

I remember going to Newfoundland in the summer with my mom Alice Long and my dad Phil long. We would go and see aunt Lila and uncle Bill every visit. Aunt Lila would give me homemade bread and tea. Then she would say come on now we are going to sing. She would sing this little light of mine I’m gonna let it shine and play the organ and I would sing along with her. No words can ease your pain but I am deeply sorry for the loss of your beautiful mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend Lila. I will always remember her with so much love and kindness to everyone.

I have so many precious memories of my beautiful great Aunt Lila. She was a beautiful soul who loved her family and her friends. I will always remember spending time with her & Uncle Bill in the summers when we’d visit NL. She’d get us kids around the piano , organ or what ever instrument she had close by and play for us, and sing songs ! Music brought her so much joy . I know you are singing with the Angels now and at peace with Uncle Bill by your side. RIP sweet Aunt Lila , you are gone but will never forgotten.

I was so lucky to have Mrs Lila for a friend. She would come visit and play a tune on the piano and always bring a fruit tray. You will be missed and I’ll never forget your kindness.
