Obituary of William (Bill Tom) Thomas Brenton

It is with great sadness the family of William T. Brenton (Bill Tom)  of Burin announces his passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the age of 85 years.

Leaving to mourn with loving and precious memories; sons George (Nadine), Stuart and David all of Burin; grandchildren Neil Thomas Brenton, Angela Michelle  Brenton, Amy Cross, Nicole Maclennan and David Brenton; great-grandchildren Paiton Macdonald, Bree Macdonald, Avery Macdonald, Melanie Lyle, Carson Brenton, Kyla Brenton, Davie Brenton, Breanna Brenton, Brooke Brenton, Anika Mugridge, Ava Mugridge, Abbey Mugridge, Skye Lucas, Rylan Cross and Emma Boyd plus a large circle of other family and friends.

Predeceased by parents William and Mary Brenton, wife Gertrude Brenton, brothers Albert, Leonard and George and sisters Jessie, Dorothy and Beatrice.

Family will be receiving friends at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Monday, February 19, 2018 from 7-9pm and Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 2-4PM & 7-9PM.

Funeral Service to take place from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ship Cove Wednesday, February 21, 2018  at 2pm with interment following at Anglican Cemetery, Hodder's Point.

In lieu of flowers Donations in his memory may be made to The Family.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.

We the family of the late William (Bill Tom) Brenton offer our heartfelt thanks for the love support and kindness during our of loss and sorrow of beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Thank you to family, friends and the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre who cared for him while in the hospital, to Serenity Funeral Home for the kindness and compassion as well as his home care worker Janet Hillier. A special thank you to Rev. James Spencer for officiating the funeral service and burial.
