Obituary of Harvey Edgar Cheeseman

Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Sunday, September 10, 2017 Harvey Edgar Cheeseman of Burin in his 82nd year.

Leaving to mourn with precious memories wife Susie Penney Cheeseman; daughter Wanda Baker (Martin) of Fort McMurray, AB; grandson Ian (Crystal-Lee); granddaughter Jaclyn (Paul Allain) and great-grandson Oakley; sister Eleanor Stoyles of St. John's; sisters-in-law Ella and Joan Cheeseman; step-sons Jeff Penney (Barbara) of Glovertown, NL, Randy Penney (Gloria) of St. John's, NL, Craig Penney (Sharon) of Grandfalls-Windsor, NL; step-daughters Marion Kenny (Gus) of St. John's, NL, Yvonne Scott of CBS, NL, Michelle Penney of St. John's, NL,;step-daughter-in-law Anne Marie Penney of St. John's, NL; 19 step grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren plus a large circle of nephews, nieces, other family and friends.

Predeceased by parents Rebecca Maude and Thomas Cheeseman; wife Ernestine Cheeseman; brothers Gordon (Vida), Reginald and Frank; brother-in-law Wesley Stoyles and sister Mabel Hollett (Fred).

Family will be receiving visitors at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM.

Funeral service to take place from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ship Cove on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 2PM with Interment following at Anglican cemetery, Hodder's Point.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Diabetes Canada or a Charity of ones choice.
