Obituary of Martha Mary Turpin

It is with great sadness that the family of the that the family of Martha Mary Turpin of St. Lawrence announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on February 11th at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn husband Fabian; sons Gene (Lorraine) , Phil (Sue), Larry (Darlene), Derek (Carrie), Dale (Pat), Frank (Eliza) and Greg (Debbie); daughter Cathy Armstrong (Joe) ; 21 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters Lucy, Beth and Cress; brothers Sandy and Bill plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by daughter Francesca and son Sandy. Resting at St. Thomas Aquinas RC Church, St. Lawrence Sunday, February 12th from 6-9PM and all day Monday. Funeral Vigil - Monday @ 7PM Funeral Mass to take place from St. Thomas Aquinas RC Church, St. Lawrence on Wednesday , February 14th at 11AM with interment following at Mount Cecilia Cemetery, St. Lawrence. In her memory flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to Kidney Dialysis Unit, Burin Peninsula Hospital. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin. The funeral for the late Martha Turpin at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, St. Lawrence is cancelled for today and will take place at 11am Wednesday.
