Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on November 6th, 2025 Dion Inkpen of Creston at the age of 62 . Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Pearl and step daughter Asha; father Nelson, stepmother Emily, stepbrother Stewart, stepsister Stacey, daughters Sarah Niminiken (Ryan) of BC and Nicole Fulton (Kristan) of Ottawa; grandchildren Deegan, Easton, Ivor and Eden Rose; special friends Albert Inkpen, Major Ross, Alvin Foote, Dave King, Dave Rowsell, Bill Leech, Cathy and Randell Evans, and Viola Lewis mother –in-law Gertrude; brother-in-law Moses and Medi; sister–in-law Mariam and Asha; aunts and uncles Lois, Flora, Warren, Wayne, Josie, Marie (George), Judy (Cyril), Brenda and Margaret plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by mother Mildred; uncles Clarence, Donald, Robert Inkpen, Doug Horwood, William Pike and Michel Mailloux (Maxwell Joyce); aunts Martha, Lillian and Rita .
Family will be accepting visitors Saturday from 4 to 9pm from Serenity Funeral Home, Burin and from St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, St. Lawrence Sunday from 4-9pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 10th at 11am from St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, St. Lawrence with interment following at Anglican Cemetery, St. Lawrence.
Donations may be made in his memory to St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, St. Lawrence or flowers gratefully accepted.
