Q: What 3 words best describe Etta and why? A: The 3 words that best describe Aunt Etta are gentle, thoughtful and sweet. I remember the time she came to Ontario and visited my mom and family when we lived in Barrie. I got to know her better, and realized her quiet ways underlaid a very loving spirit. I'm sad for your family's immense loss... Heaven has gained a wonderful angel. Blanche's daughter Michelle Muise

Dear cousins Blenos , Christine, Valerie, Shirley, Velma and Sherry, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom, my Aunt Etta. She will always be in my memory as I draw up my family tree. I'm glad you have so many heartfelt memories of your Mom and know that those who live in our memories are never truly gone. Take care, your cousin Debbie. This is a photo of your Mom from May 1958. She had sent it to my Mom.

So many wonderful memories of Aunt Etta , a quiet soft spoken woman with a heart to please . I remember the smell of homemade bread when you walked in the house . Even though I only spent summers in Burin as a child I remember seeing Aunt Etta hanging out the sheets and bringing water in from the well , I always admired how strong she was and nothing stopped her , a wonderful woman to look up to . I know she will be missed. Sending hugs to all my cousins, know that you are in my thoughts. Love Bev Isaacs

My sister Etta had a smile for everyone she seen.My fondest memory is every visit to her home the table was alway's set out for tea and a few cookies or slice of bread by (Valerie).Last time I visited her in St.Lawrence she still had that big smile of gratitide for making the time to go see her.Though she is my sister and I have my own level of greif I want to send my Sincere,Heartfelt Condolences to all of her children and their families. One of the greatest losses is losing our mom's.May God give us all the strength we need to get through this difficult time.May Etta R.I.P. until we meet again. Love from Beverly Crocker Bell and Ralph.
