Corella was a beautiful woman through and through. She was a special friend. I met Corella initially about 20 years ago when she was a client of mine and was a Cook on the Lakeboats. She was always so kind and sincere and I enjoyed many chats with her. At Christmas, she made myself and Darlene, my colleague, a dark rum fruitcake and a white fruitcake each which we thoroughly enjoyed. These fruitcakes continued every year to this date. Even when Corella moved to Nova Scotia they would show up for us before Christmas. There was one time in later years they didn’t show up, but soon after Christmas there they were. She never forgot us, nor will we ever forget her. I was so saddened to hear of her passing, and I will miss this beautiful woman and friend. Thinking about you, Tina, Keith and Nadine and sending love your way.
