Linda was the best kind of woman. Strong and loving, intelligent and kind. A wonderful mother and grandmother. She gave the best advice and was always one to tell it like it was. Sincere condolences to Linda's family. I hadn't seen Linda a lot over the past 40+ years but I always remember her kindness to me (as a young child) when I spent my summer holidays with family in Flatrock. I've also heard so many positive things from others about Linda's kindness and caring. Rest in Peace, Linda.

Every summer of my childhood included a trip to Aunt Linda and Uncle Tom's cabin. It was a place full of fun and adventure and imagination. I didn't appreciate it until this week how much of my creativity and invention as a mom was inspired by Aunt Linda. Anything we could dream up she was ready to make happen. Sending love to Uncle Tom, Sharon, Nancy, Keith and Dale so we all hold on to those magical memories. Rest easy, Aunt Linda

Sincerest Condolences to Tom and all Linda's family. Linda was one of the first nurses to orientate me to the old Burin Cottage Hospital when I started working there part time. I will never forget her kindness and how she made me feel welcome . She always had time and patience to show me new skills . She often spoke of her children and grandchildren with love and pride. I'm sure she will be missed.

Tom and Family, So sorry to hear of Linda’s passing, sending you my deepest condolences. I have many great memories of Linda from my days at BPHCC, I loved working with Linda and valued many of our night shift chats and the advice she gave. I enjoyed visiting with the family at their home and the cabin. She took a great interest in my kids and I looked forward to seeing her and spending time with her when we returned to Newfoundland for vacation and when you guys visited Ontario.
