Gwen and Family,
My deepest condolences on the passing of such a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, sibling and friend to all.
Paul always had a way of bringing brightness to one's day with his pleasant smile and kind words.
I fondly remember the many times I passed a joke with him when he worked at Burin Hospital.
In Canada's Centennial Year 1967, despite my many health problems I gave birth to my two daughters, Irene in January and Bridget in November! When I was leaving the hospital with the second child I met Paul in the corridor on the way out.
Paul made a comment to me about acting fast. I replied, "Yes, Paul, if I can be back here pregnant again before January 1st. I will call this my Centennial Project! ".
He laughed about that many times when we met at the hospital after.
May songs of the angels and your beautiful daughter welcome you, Paul, and may Our Heavenly Father comfort and care for the beautiful wife and family you leave behind. Mary Hodder
