I have just learned of Colin's passing. My sincere condolences to Colin's family and friends. Colin was in my chemistry class about 16 years ago, but I remember Colin well. His ambition was to teach, and I was pleased when I learned that he had taken a position at MUN. It was a privilege to have known him.

Goodbye to my good friend. I will never again get to send him a message or post on his FB wall. How we kept in touch over the years will never fade nor linger. He was one of my closest and longest MUN friends and someone I sought either advice from or when I needed a kick in the butt. All memories now, but those memories will stay with me. Colin and I lived together during the Summer of 2003 in Burton’s Pond while going to MUN. We bonded mainly over our collective interest in pro-wrestling and became good friends that semester. We did keep in touch over the years via e-mail and Facebook, but unfortunately we never got together again in person. It would have been great to meet up with him at least one more time. Hello to Colin's family and close friends, Colin was one of my chemistry students at MUN and later a colleague and friend. I couldn't help but like Colin. He was an honest, straight forward person who told it like it is. I often had lunch with him in the tea room in the chemistry department and enjoyed many conversations with him on just about any topic one could think of. He was great with students which is why I made sure he was offered the opportunity to help out in our mini-enrichment camp for junior high students which was held annually over a two day period in the spring. I’ve known Colin for a since his days in residence at MUN. The whole crowd of us who used to hang around came together through common interests: music, d&d (I never played until later but always enjoyed watching and the banter between players was always great), and we all had a “dark” sense of humour. He was one of the kindest, most gentle souls you’d ever meet and if there was anything he could do to help you he was there. The world lost a great man, husband, son, and friend last week and he will be most certainly missed by us all. My condolences go out to his wife, his family and all of his friends who are mourning the loss of our friend. Colin; I’m not sure you ever realized how much you are going to be missed by so many. My condolences to Amanda and the Antle family. Words cannot express how painful it is to hear this news so I write this with a heavy heart. Colin was a big part of my life growing up and my best friend. I remember after school on Friday we would spend the entire weekend together and sunday it was always sunday dinner and the Antles would always let me stay. Every Wednesday we would meet at the peninsula mall while his mom and grandmother shopped. If we werent together we talked on the phone for hours...ears going numb.We were inseparable. I was so shocked and saddened by the news of his passing. I only wish we had stayed close friends in our adult life, I truly missed out on that. My thought are with you all. RIP my friend.
