Obituary of Joseph William Fizzard

It is with great sadness the family of Joseph Fizzard of Grand Le Pierre residing in Marystown announces his passing on July 15, 2016 at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center at the age of 89 years. Leaving to mourn sons Albert (Madonna) of Brooks, AB, Fred (Donna) of Winterland, Perry of Marystown, Kevin (Doreen) of Grand Le Pierre, Merrick of Brooks, AB and Derrick of Calgary, AB; daughters Sarah of St. John's, Bernice (Bruce) of St. John's, Georgina (Chris Noseworthy) of Burin Bay Arm and Sabrina of Marystown; 24 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by wife Alfreda; parents Annie and William Fizzard; daughter Myrtle; son Adam; 5 grandchildren; brother Charles and sisters Elsie Bolt, Edith Kearley, Sarah Bryne, Frances Hickey and Elizabeth Stone. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Saturday, July 16th from 2-4pm family only and 7-9pm public and Sunday 10am to 9pm. Funeral Service to take place from Salvation Army Faith and Hope Corps, Creston South on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 2PM with interment to follow at Salvation Army Cemetery, Creston South.
